Should The Wall Be Built?

On November 09,2018 a blogger posted an article titled” Immigration”, the blogger explains the rapid declining in deportation of illegal immigrants. The blogger explains that many illegal immigrants are returning to their native country to seek new opportunities offered to them. Even though violence and corruptions are at their high the people have a better chance to thrive freely without being judged by the immigration status.  President Trump’s focus is to build the famous wall to keep immigrants out of the U.S, but currently the wall is irrelevant because immigrants are returning to their native land.

I agree with the blogger, Trump should find a new focus instead of trying to build a wall. Secondly boarder security is important matter for national security but building a wall won’t solve the issue I personally think it will make more issues down the line. President Trump should focus on bringing troops back home to be with their families instead of sending away. He should consider all the data that is provided to him and realize that his promise of building a wall is not a great idea anymore. There are better things he can be working on for example providing more shelter for all the homeless Americans all over the United States.

Why Should Marijuana Be Legalized?

One of the most controversial topics in the United States is the legalization of marijuana, many are against it and many if favor. We are in 2018 a lot of things have changed, and illegal marijuana should be a thing of the past. Why not use something that is causing so much crime and harm to the nation, and use it in the federal and states favor? The legalization of marijuana has many economic benefits like job creations, lower crime rates, and added tax revenue for federal or state government.

There are many pros and cons about the legalization of marijuana but am here to shade some light on some of the things in favor of marijuana.  The legalization of cannabis could produce more jobs for Americans for example more farmers, processors, distributors, and retails jobs will be available. Major industries could also have an opportunity by producing new and improved greenhouses for farmers that will help produced better product. The dismantling of major drug cartels and lowering crime rates around Unites States boarders will also be a huge win. Helping the states government to save money in the process for example the fewer court cases that involve marijuana results in fewer incarcerations, meaning the state doesn’t have to spend money on another inmate saving millions of dollars in the process.

Another major reason for the legalization of cannabis is for its medical use. Many patients use marijuana in different forms for different medical reasons, many still buy it illegally making it unsafe for the consumer laced with harmful products causing more harm than good.  Legalizing marijuana on the other hand provided an improvement of quality and safety control, reassuring the consumer that what they are consuming is safe and run no risk of ending at the hospital because of a bad reaction to the product. Patients with epilepsy use cannabis oils that is rubbed on the bottom of their feet to help them control the episode they may be experiencing. Other patients also benefit form marijuana for example cancer patients, people suffering for chronic pain, migraines, and Crohn’s disease. The list goes on and on, but many patients currently still buy marijuana illegally making it harder for them to get any type of relief for their medical problems.

Many will still disagree on this topic saying that marijuana should be illegal, that it is a drug and people should just go see a doctor to get prescription medications instead. What for so they can run the risk of overdosing and in some cases lead to death? Although marijuana does not cure their disease or medical condition it does help improve their quality of life. Legalizing marijuana will help thousands of people by either proving a better paying jobs or helping others with a medical problem.
